CHALLENGE
People are looking for more than just a caffeine rush in their morning cup. Coffee may be the original functional beverage, but Good News’ collaboration with BAIA - based on plants, sprouts and superfoods - offers even more. This is the launch of a new product category that taps into the superfood trend, offering coffee lovers additional benefits like beauty, focus, or digestion support. While this is a perfect match for the new generation, it’s suitable for all. This ain't just coffee, it's a healthy lifestyle upgrade in a cup.

The challenge was clear: communicate the diverse benefits of each super drink, building a unique "superpower universe" around each one, letting consumers connect with the functionalities through the lens of superpowers. The campaign was omnichannel, using a mix of audiovisual content, merch, user-generated content, and more, all adapted to each format for a digital, relatable experience. We even created a small, interactive event at the point of sale.

Humor is Gen Z’s love language. From memes that make fun of drama, hilarious WhatsApp stickers, Dua Lipa's dance crying, to Rigo’s tearjerking anthems.

The world is changing, and every day throws us unexpected news. Who knew we would eventually stop saying “en plan", socks and clogs would be trendy, or that our seemingly perfect crush might actually be a 10?

Luckily, we can face it all with a shot of humor. Good News Coffee & Smoothies offers tasty energy boosts for your coffee or smoothie - the perfect way to take in those days when the world throws us another shocker.

We brought this storytelling to life across all platforms. We created hilarious graphics featuring "breaking news" you can only swallow with a super delicious beverage. We also created a mock news report video to amplify the campaign's ironic and relatable message.
